I write for health and women’s magazines, including Oxygen, Natural Health, Women’s Health & Fitness, Clean Eating, and Alternative Medicine. My subjects range from food and fertility, to fitness techniques and adventure travel, to enlivening your sex life in a single evening. Although the subject matter may sometimes be light, the content of my articles is always steeped in science. I’m determined to deliver useful, practical, and informative news to readers, and always double- (triple!) check my sources. I like to get the facts straight the first time around.
I don’t just write about good health—I’m committed to practicing it. In my own life, I’m serious about nutrition and fitness. I eat a mostly raw, vegetarian diet, practice yoga regularly, and, although I’m not very fast, run about four miles most days of the week. Beyond writing about how to stay healthy, I counsel people on how to improve their nutrition and live a healthier lifestyle.
